A picture is worth a thousand words. When I saw this shot this morning while reviewing the shots from yesterday I was, for some reason, struck with the notion that this reminds me of how government treats us, the common worker. They stand watching us struggle with our businesses demanding a piece of the action but waiting for us to drop the fish so they can swoop in a gobble us up. The really terrible part of this is that there were 8 or nine more Vultures just off camera to the right drooling over that fish too.
In the end the Cormorant did eat the entire catfish, whiskers and all, fluffed his tail up at the vultures, went out and got another fish to enjoy.
